The 2026 Delegation

In July 2026, ten College of Global Engagement students travelled to Kobe for the Japan University English Model United Nations, joining students from universities across Japan to simulate the work of UN Women on the theme Building a Gender-Inclusive Society. Over three days, the delegation represented Colombia, Gabon, Nepal, and the Netherlands across ten committees, debating issues from human trafficking to women, peace and security. It was the culmination of four months of preparation: researching assigned countries, writing position papers, and rehearsing speeches and negotiation. This page is a record of who they were and what they took part in.
